Cardinal Lorudce Lancaster arrives at the and announces his presence to the guards stationed there.

Not many guards yet, Your Eminence, not much of anyone except the carpenters and masons.

We're still awaiting official license from the Duke and council, otherwise we may have to halt construction and seek out a new location to build. such a tedious thing sometimes... I suppose even after getting license I will have to get the Princess Regent to officiate it.

The place is shaping up nicely. I expect no problems in getting license from the Duke.

Thank you your Eminence, I had a small hand in the architectural drawings, but the master mason, of course, told me what was actually plausible.

As with everything worthwhile, the true cost is time, a lesson my father was sure to pass on to me. I am sure I will hear from the Duke when everything is truly ready.

A young man dressed in the Robes of a Priest arrives at the Gatehouse.

Wanfeng arrives at the Gate and seeing no one about, he pinned a note on the Gate. He saw trees a distance away and moved to take shelter in one of the trees as he waited for admittance. After sometime he started to nod off...

I've arrived at Castle Rose to join you in this endeavour and will await patiently a distance away for admittance to the inner courts and keep. Just give me a sign and I'll come up to this very gate and seek entrance again.

The sun was shining brightly as Tressa made her way back to the Castle. She had gone to town to replace her supply of ink so that she could continue preparing the Library for use.

Rounding the bend in the road, she sees the castle in front of her. As she gets closer, she notices a man sitting under the tree. Approaching him she introduces herself...

Excuse me, is there something I can help you with? I'm Tressa the Herald at the castle. Its rather warm out here in the sun, why don't you come inside and have something cool to drink.

Rising from the very tree that he had rested in a few days before, Wanfeng replied... Thank you M'lady Tressa, I'm Wanfeng. It's good to meet you here. I've been given my keys to the keep by Sir Loyat already, I'm just out here enjoying the breeze as it can get quite stuffy inside the keep. Let me help you with those things you be carrying. And let's go in for the drink you mentioned as we talk further. I am still new to this very Castle and am not sure of any place other than my own room to get a drink. If M'lady will be so kind as to lead the way, I'll gladly follow with your supplies.

Wanfeng waits patiently for Lady Tressa to show the way into the castle proper and any other place that she might lead him.

Adec walks up and notices Dranoel appearing to speak to the air...

You speak to a shade, friend. Wanfeng has not been with us for some time now. Adec says as he steps out from the path he was walking... He grabs the nose of Dranoel's horse and shakes it a bit....

Walking out of the barbican with his nose buried in a book and a bundle of scrolls tucked under his arm, Rook quickly snaps back to reality as he overhears his name.

"Dranoel? Yes... of course. It's a pleasure." he shuffles his papers so as to free up a hand to extend to the new postulant. "I see you received my missive. I am glad that my directions were sufficient to bring you here. I trust you have also heeded my advice regarding the study of the Mythos?"

Without waiting for a response, Rook continues "I'm sure you will do well in your studies. Hmmm... We must make arrangements for your initiation immediately!"
